Melbourne Writers Festival
A social-first moving-image record of Melbourne Writers Festival — shaped around audience-author rapport, the kinetic energy of the city and the patina of its historic venues, evoking the live texture of literary culture.
The approach was designed to make a talk-based festival feel current and alive for a younger, socially fluent audience: less a formal record, more a lived experience.
The project combined in-festival capture with vox pops, author moments and lo-fi footage designed to hold the feeling of being there — conversations outside sessions, audience reactions, venue energy and the immersive textures that become memory.
Delivered throughout the festival, the work was created for immediate social use while also building a broader visual archive for future campaign cycles.
Deliverables:
1 × In-festival sizzle reel
4 x In-festival vox pop social edits
